In addition to writing books and journalism, I edit, copy-edit, and write all kinds of other things. If you’re interested in seeing my resume, drop me a line.
Recent collaborative book projects include the forthcoming Getting Lost: Designing the Monk’s Garden at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, with Michael Van Valkenburgh, and several cookbooks with Top Chef alum and all-around nice guy Fabio Viviani.
Other authors I’ve worked with include New York Times bestseller Gretchen Rubin (The Happiness Project). I’ve proofread and copy-edited everything from websites to newsletters to book manuscripts and am always open to new projects.
I do a lot of communications and development writing and editing for colleges, schools, non-profits and other companies and institutions–everything from fund-raising campaigns, including quiet phase white papers, solicitation materials, and stewardship communication plans and letters, to annual reports, alumni profiles, student profiles and essays. Recent clients include Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, The Trinity-Pawling School, Emmanuel College, The Polytechnic School (Pasadena, CA), The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Middlesex School, Planned Parenthood, and the University of Virginia.
