    Oh, Persephone Books are great! I just bought a trio to send to my mother-in-law who’s housebound with a broken hip. Agnes Jekyll’s ‘Kitchen Essays’ is atmospheric period reading, and you might also enjoy ‘How to run your house without help’. I’m eager to find more of their food books. ‘Good Food on the Aga’! ‘Good Things in England’!
